Hays Hook

These hooks are hand-made to Capt Roddy Hays' specifications. Produced from very high quality stainless-steel, they are extremely strong due to a high carbon content and have more than made their mark worldwide where strength and durability have been a neccessity. Capt Roddy designed them for heavy-tackle use but these hooks have worked wherever they have been put in the water, as they have an exceptional hook-up and retention ratio. Although seemingly expensive, they will last far longer than comparative stainless hooks, and they will retain their point and sharpness far better than similarly patterned hooks in bright black steel which are chemically sharpened and rust out quickly. You can easily finish them to your preferred point if you dislike the standard cone-point which Capt Roddy recommends and which they are supplied with. These hooks are suitable for both baits and lures, and are available in size 7/0, 8/0, 9/0, and 10/0.
